CXC is the leading examinations body in the Caribbean, providing a suite of examinations to 16 English-speaking territories and some of the Dutch-speaking islands for over 30 years.
CXC examinations usually take place in January and then in June-July every year. Student normally sit the January exams as a mock test to see how well prepared they are for their June-July exams.

After a student or candidate is finished CXC and passed all their exams, they can now go on the Advanced Level which is called CAPE.
